In addition to being able to manually pick up villagers, it would be great if there were a special minecart or similar that would pick up villagers as Easy Villagers items. Something like a dispenser could be used to reverse the process. This would allow for things like automating just the villager zombification/curing but let you have a standard village or trading hall.

Maybe it could look like a passenger car from a train or something and have a small inventory like a hopper minecart does. Then activator rails could unload the villagers into the world or hoppers could pull them out as items.

The whole purpose of the mod is that you never need any physical villagers in the world, since you can do everything in the blocks. So there's actually no need to automatically pick up villagers. And even if you want automatic villager items, you can just use the breeder.
