With Fresh Animation Resource Pack installed (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/texture-packs/fresh-animations), villager item (in the picked-up state or an EasyVillager block item) displays only whites of eyes and no pupils.

Describe the solution you'd like
It would be great if the villager item texture showed pupils (even if just static) when a resource pack is used to retexture villagers.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Don't use a resource pack that causes pupils to disappear when a villager is in its item state.

If this is out of scope for this mod, or if this needs to be supported by the Fresh Animations resource pack developer, please let me know and feel free to close this issue.

I'm sorry, but this resource pack only works with OptiFine. I can't do much about that. My mod would somehow need to hook into OptiFine to render this, but this is not possible since OptiFine is closed source.
