Guys, CurseForge has a 1.21.1 version of the mod, you can install it from there for now.

I don't know, I'm not a mod developer, I just faced the same problem and decided to check CurseForge, where I found the right release, I really have no idea why the developer didn't put the right version on Modrinth...
