Neoforge 1.21.1
Describe the bug
When you put the eccentric tome into a Refined Storage disk, it can be accessed. However, when you have a guide in the tome and try to take it out, it doesn't come out. It can't be exported into a chest with an exporter, either.
To Reproduce
Add a guide to the eccentric tome and place it into a grid in Refined Storage 2.
Expected behavior
The ability to take the tome back out.
Additional context
This is in the FTB Evolution modpack. I checked the Refined Storage 2 site first. The troubleshooting page on the RS2 site said to contact the authors of the mod if an item can't be taken out, as they can't do anything on their end.
Refined Mods has a fix listed for mod developers on their page here if that helps.
isn't it more of an RS2 issue ?
That's what I originally thought as well, but I went through some info and they advise not opening this type of issue with RS2, but rather the devs of the item that can't be removed.
Imo, this looks like an issue with single items containing some sort of changed metadata. Yesterday I put my Silent Gear tool into RS2 just fine, but the second I rolled a rarity on it with Apotheosis it also got stuck in the system.
I'm going to look through their issues page and see if I can find any similar situations they might be fixing on their end. For my playthrough I'm just going to switch gears to AE2 for now.
i hope it's not an issue for AE2 aswell
Not that I've seen so far. RS1 and AE2 has always worked fine with Eccentric and Akashic in the past, as well as Silent Gear and Apotheosis.
This seems to be predominantly an RS2 issue, which is why I'm considering opening an issue there or piggybacking off an existing issue they have.
I only opened it here because Eccentric was the first item I noticed this happening with and RS2 asks you to open issues devside for the mod first.
Also, its good to make people aware not to put your tome in an RS2 system.
