i tried /ee3 regen-energy-values. still same result
I know you're busy so not wanting to bother you or anything, just want to let you know that:

Refined Iron Ingot is 72.75 EMC

Steel from Immersive Engineering is 320 EMC

Refined Iron Ingot = Steel

soo technically Infinite EMC...

There isn't much I can do about this. It's not correct to just assign the lowest value to all members of an ore dictionary entry as that has a trickle down effect on recipes using those items.

If you want you yourself can adjust your energy values so that they are the
same. Try the set-energy-value command.
