Whenever I launch pre 2 with forge it says the title mojang symbol then it goes black. Here is the FML logs. I have tried this with forge #534 #490 #497 and possibly some others.

You might want to know that pre2 does not exist yet.
If you are running pre2, that's fake.

EDIT2: Yep, fake. Your log is saying "ee3.common.EquivalentExchange3" while it should be (latest version) "com.pahimar.ee3.EquivalentExchange3".

I think he's compiling from source- in which case this is legit. That's all I got, though- unless you're running other mods alongside EE3; then it may be an issue of compatibility.

The latest confirmed working release is pre1f, IIRC.

I am using the compiled version and EE3 is the only mod. I should have mentioned that earlier.

How recent?

"pre2" (as in his case) was a goof release from the very earliest beta of the FTB modpack. It's using a completely different code structure than current as well. This is at least 2-3 months old.

The problem they are having is they are using a super old build of EE3 with the most current Forge (534 for MC 1.4.7). Update your EE3 to pre1f and try again.
