Describe the bug
Although I had all necessary ingredients, trying to do the "sacrifice villager" prayer did not work.

To Reproduce
I first tried it near my base, with everything needed including a stone altar and stone effigy. I used a traveling villager first. When this didnt work I moved all of it to a village and put it in the ground to make capturing/ killing a villager easier, but the prayer just didnt seem to work.

Environment
1.16.3 multiplayer server.

Having the same issue, all the listed criteria met, but no prayer working. Oddly, when I tried a normal animal sacrifice chant it did work, but the villager sacrifice won't

ATM9 player here, can confirm that I have the same issue where animal sacrifices work fine, but villager sacrifices are broken. You can't even fill the goblet with its blood, no matter how many die around, or what method is used to kill them.

1. Is there blood in the goblet?
2. Does the villager sacrifice chant appear in your Ars Ecclesia?
3. Has it been an in-game day (at least 21000 ticks) since you last did any other sacrifice or prayer?

yes, all of these things were true.

If you're playing with other mods there's some possibility of a conflict. But this hasn't broken for anyone else to my knowledge, so I would be surprised. If you're running any mods that interfere with villagers maybe that could be it? But I can't think of any off the top of my head, and besides that I'm not sure what it could be...other than perhaps some user error outside of the questions I asked.
