Add option for 1 time use Spell book

Suggestion details: Since now the mod already feature the wand leveling system, you are no longer have to re-add your spell everytime you got a better wand. So how about an config option that make every spell book you find can only be use 1 time (on a wand). This encourage to have multiple wand ready and to save your wand slot waiting for fiting spell rather than just adding every spell you can find to it. This also add up the variety of caster player in a game (since they can't just borrow a friend's spell book anymore, so no more same spell user) and enable spell book to be a precious drop even after you have already obtain it once.

Not sure I understand... the only time you'd have to re-add spells when advancing to the next tier before was if you bought the new wand rather than upgrading an existing one, which is still the case.

Single-use spell books have been suggested a good few times already but people have mixed opinions about it, it's not really how the mod was designed. I could make it so you can bind scrolls to wands as a single-use, perhaps?

Let me just clarify my suggestion here: i kind of wanted to stop people from abusing the spellbook. I mean if there is 15 clan member and each of them found 1 spell book, then you will end up having 15 spell since they can share that book, which end up create 15 exactly mage with exactly same set up of spell. It fun and cool to fight other with magic, but not when you have to fight 15 people with exact same spell.
And as further as it go, people will then having too many spell to use, and end up only use the strongest spell that their clan can find, it not that hard with 15 player all searching, if not more. Further more, you also have to think twice before you decided to overwrite a spell, as they are not freebies. Do i really need this spell, should i create an other wand for it, do i need the deleted spell in the future... Prevent the things like "let me just tp home, grab the spell we need and imma switch it back later". You can still cast many spell, it just that you will need to invest on more wand, which define "powerful wizard" mean, not by that "cheat" method

All i want is an option to tune down the escalation rate. By limited the amount of use of a spell book, it enable a lot more dept to the gameplay as not every mage is the same anymore. You become unique, base on what you find, and you can alway have reason to keep more than 1 copy of the book. It doesnt really have to be 1-time spellbook , but can be 2 or 3 times. You can keep it or share a charge to a friend or 2, just not with 15 people

Okay, that makes more sense, thanks for explaining. There is ongoing discussion about this, I am aware of the problem of sharing spell books in multiplayer. I wonder if there's a good way to make it so only the player that found a spell book can use it? I can see what you're getting at, I just wonder if limited-use spell books are the best way of doing it. If you're on the discord server, it might be worth asking around for some opinions.

@Electroblob77 The spell books do cause a bit of an inventory storage nightmare. Perhaps have a spellbook where you commit them to it, and that can be an actual item or simply data on the character so when they go to add stuff to the wand they can select the spell from known spells. That way it can't be abused by multiplayer, and still avoids frustration of having to find that rare master spell again.
