I am using the 1.16.X-1.0.9b version of ED2 and the 36.1.16 version of Forge.

And yes, I am the guy that posted this same issue with the wrong log in the wrong mod's issue page. Sorry about that again.

Not sure if this helps, but I've just experienced the same crash.

Everything worked perfectly in combination with Appleskin, Overloaded Armor Bar etc.
I switched them all out for Classic Bars (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/classic-bars)
and immediately had the same crash when switching to Survival mode via console command.
