Shift-clicking armor doesn't update feather bar

Minecraft v1.16.5
Forge v36.1.32
Elenai Dodge 2 v1.1.0
If I shift-click to take my armor off, the steel feathers does not update, but if I click and drag to take it off, the feather bar does update as it should. I was going to record it, but then a mod caused an unrelated crash. -_- I will post a video later if it is still needed.
