The game freezes on the loading screen/startup

Bug Description
I don't know whats happening, yesterday i loaded up embeddium in my game due to massive lag problems, and it was working fine. but today, whenever i try to enter the game, it just freezes on the loading screen and gives a "Minecraftjava.exe is not responding" message. im playing on 1.20.1 forge.
i do not know whats causing this, my game is infact modded, but previous to this day, it was working fine with all mods, i didn't alter the folders, add any other mods or mess with anything in the game, i just booted it up normally to play with my friend and it froze up on the loading screen as i've explained earlier.
Reproduction Steps
I don't know how to reproduce this error, i just boot up the game and it happens. if it helps, here's my mod list:
