JEI lets you click the arrow / progress bar between the inputs and outputs of block GUIs to view the usage of the machine. It doesn't use a new page or anything, it's the equivalent of hitting the "view usage" mapping on the machine itself.

Is this feasible to add to EMI? It would greatly improve the ergonimics of the mod.

Take the simple example of a furnace. Currently in order to see the usages you have to search for "furnace", or already have it bookmarked, or happen to have on in a nearby inventory. In JEI and (AFAIK) most of its alternatives you can just click the processing image to "Show Recipes" as the hover text says.

Edit: Maybe it would need to be a new screen. It specifically shows all the recipes that machine can be used for, which is technically different than the "view usage" UI I mentioned. This is where JEI adds the hover text, which seems like a helpful entrypoint into seeing how it works over there (not that EMI needs to do the same thing of course, but it would be nice to have something comparable!).
