If this issue is related to compatibility with other mods, such as missing recipes, make sure to follow these steps before reporting

• [N/A] Make sure the recipe exists in game and can be crafted
• [YES] If the mod requires JEI, make sure both EMI and JEI are installed together
• [NO] Report this issue to the mod if applicable

I agree that # for tag and $ for text makes more sense, but the standard has been $ = tag, # = text for so long.

Please give us a config option to change it for compatibility with synchronized search terminal mods like AE2, Integrated Dynamics (Integrated Terminals), etc

I searched quite a bit on google, curseforge comments, github and config files of both EMI and AE2, so forgive me if I missed something.

( I commented earlier when I thought "use EMI" in AE2 terminal settings was circumventing the issue but I was wrong. I just happened to use searches that seemed to relay the same results. )

I wasn't sure if it would be better to clarify or just delete the comment. heh
