After updating the All The Mods 10 (ATM10) modpack to version 2.42, EMI now takes significantly longer to load and causes severe lag and high memory usage.

During loading, EMI throws errors while loading recipes from some mods. It then shows the message:
"Experiencing delay, is everything alright?"

Eventually, it claims baking is done, but then it gets stuck again with "Baking Recipes...". While this message is displayed, the game suffers from constant stutters

I’ve also tried disabling all JEI and EMI addons I had installed, but the same issues occur regardless.

This is caused by the newest version of Sawmill. Revert that mod to 1.5.14 and the issue should be resolved.

I am experiencing this problem too. My CPU gets really loud and the items never load in.

Ah, this mod has always caused me issues when I update. I updated the entire pack today and it must have been one of those mods i overlooked.

Solution verified and issue resolved for me.
