FPS drops whenever the mod is enabled, even when no emojis are being rendered.
While developing a new modpack, I have also found that simply having Emojicord installed lowers fps by a substantial enough amount to warrant me removing it from the pack, very unfortunate.
@TerdyTheTerd Could you list all mods?
There are a lot of them, most likely have no interaction. Here are some that may effect it in someway:
- Optifine
- FoamFix
- BetterFPS
- Dynamic Surroundings
- Vanilla Fix
- Phosphor
I have not tested them individually, but I did just test the newest version and can confirm that with Emojicord my FPS drops by about 50 (from 250-300 down to 200-250, depending on location). While not an issue for higher end pc's a ~15% performance hit can be massive for lower end pc's that already struggle to maintain 60fps. To also note, this occurs even when no emojis are being rendered anywhere, might just be the price to pay for emoji's.
