A description of the issue

This issue is with the enchantment called scatter. When using this enchantment on a crossbow, there are no problems when I am shooting at empty space, but whenever the projectile hits a mob, a player, or myself, my own game crashes. At the same time, there is a chance that the server (Apex hosting) crashes as well. However, neither the log or the crash report shows this, because I have to manually quit the game or else nothing really happens.

It crashes in singleplayer as well

further testing shows that it only crashes with crossbow with enchant of piercing.

1.20 is unsupported, please verify that the checks you marked are accurate.

This bug probably doesn't exist in newer versions and won't be fixed in this one, but based on an initial look at the log, I can see that the Sixth Sense enchantment from Majrusz's Enchantments is in the log, so potentially look at that.
