By holding an item a villager has a trade for in your main hand, and a Disarm fishing rod in your offhand, you can steal the item the villager is holding, as well as the quantity of the item that it was listed for. Villagers will raise their aggression at you, and Iron golems will attack you after you disarm a villager with this method, but in an isolated space, one could essentially farm infinite amounts of resources with this method
