There doesn't seem to be any damage bonus when using https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/better-hurt-timer-damage-immunity-and-hurt-animations.

I don't think they can be compatible, as they're using the same event and canceling others. It's not something I can change on my end. Thanks for opening the issue though!
