Replacing capacitor with a lower tier one causes energy to go above the maximum

Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I did not find any existing issues.

Current Behavior

If you charge a machine with a higher tier capacitor, and then replace the capacitor with a lower tier one the charge state stays above maximum and the energy bar goes off limit.

Expected Behavior

The energy should be capped at what the new maximum is.

How to Test

  1. Place any machine (e.g. Alloy Smelter)
  2. Put an octadic capacitor in it
  3. Fully charge the machine
  4. Replace the capacitor with a double layer capacitor
  5. The current energy will exceed the maximum
