Extraction speed upgrades in fluid conduits

Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I did not find any existing issues.

Current Behavior

  1. Not sure if fluid pipes are supposed to accept Extraction Speed Upgrades, but they currently don't do anything. The extraction speed seems to be around 200mB/s for Fluid Conduits, 400mB/s for Pressurized Fluid Conduits and 800mB/s for Ender Fluid Conduits regardless of what Extraction Speed Upgrade you've installed (looking at a tank the numbers increase by 50, 100 and 200 respectively on each update). In contrast, Mekanism's Basic fluid pipe (their lowest) extracts 250mB/t so more than six times the amount of the best EnderIO fluid conduit.
  2. Swapping a fluid conduit with another one, e.g. right clicking a Pressurized with an Ender, replaces the conduit but the Extraction Speed Upgrade gets lost

Expected Behavior

  1. Either I shouldn't be able to add an Extraction Speed Upgrade to a fluid conduit, or the speed for the transferring fluid from one tank to another should increase with each tier
  2. The Upgrade (if its normal that we can insert one) should carry over to the new conduit

How to Test

Issue 1:

  1. Connect a full fluid tank with an empty one (I used Mekanism's Ultimate Fluid Tank in a creating world for resting). Have extraction depend on redstone signal.
  2. Repeat but this time have an Extraction Speed Upgrade on the side of the full tank.
  3. Provide redstone signal to both full tanks
  4. Observe the speed with which the empty tanks fill

Issue 2:

  1. Place an Extraction Speed Upgrade on a Pressurized Fluid Conduit
  2. Right click the Pressurized Fluid Conduit with an Ender Fluid Conduit
  3. Open the Ender Fluid Conduit's configuration and notice that there is no upgrade in it
  4. Check the user's inventory, not update there either it simply disappeared (note: I had this happen on a normal non-creative world so it's not that I didn't receive the update back due to testing in creative
