Alloy smelter does not function in any mode when all three input slots are filled

Is there an existing issue for this?
- I did not find any existing issues.
Current Behavior
Taking say, zinc powder and putting it into one slot in the alloy smelter works as expected, in furnace or alloy/furnace mode. Two slots, same thing, pulls from one slot then the other when the first slot's contents are consumed. The instant all 3 input slots are filled with zinc dust, the alloy smelter juts shuts off. No errors are reported "this device is ready to work". This happens with any single material i wish to turn into ingots.
Expected Behavior
I expected the alloy smelter to consume all 3 slots to produce its furnace output, just like it would with one filled input slot or two filled input slots.
How to Test
Take any smeltable item, like a metal dust/powder and put it into all three slots, turn the alloy smelter on by inserting a capacitor of any kind and then power the device.
If you cannot reproduce, i'd be happy to attach a video showing it.
Local Environment
- **Operating System**: winders, 10 22h2
- **Java version**: god knows. latest for sure, oracle's little orange symbol popped up a couple weeks ago.
- **Minecraft Version**: 1.20.1
- **Version**: 6.5.2 beta
- **Other Mods**: Applied Energistics 2, Mekanism...fucking all of them. there's like 760 in this pack. monumental experience latest for minecraft 1.20.1, version 2.0.116.
I kind of doubt this is a mod interaction, the device functions just fine while 1, or 2 slots are filled in furnace mode.
