[EnderZoo 1.1.4.36] With [JourneyMap 5.1.5] Owls showing on JourneyMap as hostile mobs.

Unfortunately I don't think there's much that can be done about this. The
owls actually appear on both the animal and hostile groups in journey map.
From a coding view, it is possible to easily tell if something is a passive
animal (eg sheep, cow) but there is no way to tell if something is hostile
to players. I think journey map tries to determine this based on attack
damage. It makes the assumption that an attack damage greater than 0 means
it is hostile. This works in most cases but not for the owl, as it will
attack spiders, and thus can deal damage.
I will have a look and see if I can atleast include an icon for it.

Well, the changelog for Ender Zoo says that it fixes owls spawning/showing
as hostile mobs. Apparently, Journey Map doens't think so (This has been
bugging me a lot because I would never know the difference between a
Shoggoth or an owl. It's freaky).
