Undocument exception throwModCompatibilityError
LemADEC opened this issue ยท 10 comments
When ttCore is present alongside with EnderCore, a cryptic throwModCompatibilityError exception is reported with no message associated.
There's no documentation of this constrains in the modinfo nor on the Curse project page.

This is also a problem with FML (@cpw) because it does not print the detailMessage that was given to the exception.
When this error is thrown a very clear screen with text will appear on your minecraft instance, telling you what it means.
Nope, it just crash back to the launcher with nothing on logs side to help me. I had to check the source on github to decrypt what was going on.
Are you running on a server? It won't work there but I'd expect people to test on a client first.
There will always be another bug crashing preventing players to see the message screen.
No, there won't be. I've tested this myself in a large pack and been able to see it.
The error is shown for a split second before another mod crashes due to current game state. Mapwritter (as par of Opis) does that in my case.
I would advise to add a log of the error messages in the console.
