hello, the game appears to be experiencing the bug mentioned to occur when fast render, antialiasing, or anisotropic filtering are switched on, appears to be occurring regardless. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I double checked and all three are off.

My forge version is 38.0.16, Optifine version is 1.18_HD_U_H3

Try to enable Shaders via Optifine, if there is any configuration wrong it will tell you. Furthermore you could try it without Optifine to see if your graphic card driver might be the problem.

I'll check that and message back, the mod worked for me fine back in 1.16.5 (even tried copying over my options.txt, optionsof.txt and optionsshaders.txt directly from, my 1.16.5 instance, no avail)
Also last night I checked and it was using my integrated card, so I switched it (had just launched 1.18 for the first time, nvidea defaulted to the integrated card for the new javaw executable), still nothing (except better fps lmao).

Graphics Cards:

• Nvidea Geforce GTX 1660 Ti
• AMD Raedeon Graphics (wasn't displaying further info in task manager, if it helps the CPU is a AMD Ryzen 7 4800H)

any news?

I will close this issue for now. if it still persists please reply here with the new information included.
