Dying with gamerule keepInventory true causes the player to get stuck

Version: EnigmaticGraves-1.0.jar
Forge: 36.1.32
Only other mod is JEI.
Not really sure what's going on here, but if you die with gamerule keepInventory true you're no longer able to move upon respawning. The only fix is to disable EG, log in to restore movement, then re-enable EG.
Not shown in the video below, but even changing to creative or spectator mode doesn't restore movement.
