The ring of Seven Curses grants multiple perks which can be tweaked in the config, however the 'additional item drops' can not be tweaked. Thus Mobs drop some drops which are not desired to be obtained like that (in my case Zombies dropping Slimeballs).

A Hardcore friendly approach to remove the Ring of Seven Curses. Maybe I am missing something, but as of 2.10.1 there is no way to remove the Ring in a Method that can be done in a Hardcore Playthrough.
My suggestion for a method: An item that summons a Wither which can only be used in the Nether. Until the Wither is dead, Natural Health is disabled and the Player has continuesly Wither and Poison Potion Effect active, while all other Potion Effects are negated. (To prevent suffocation cheese, can only be summoned in height y:40-10)
