[Bug] Chest model lookaround breaks with custom model and shaders enabled

Describe the bug
When shaders are enabled and player is holding a chest with a custom model in the main or off hand, the model behaves erratically and does not follow the player when turning. Placed chests function normally.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Install a resource pack with a custom chest model. I believe this occurs with any such pack, but I've tested so far with Reimagined, Rini's chests, and Refreshed Chests,
  2. Install the current versions of EMF and ETF.
  3. Install Iris Shaders and a shader pack of choice.
  4. Launch Minecraft.
  5. Enable the resource pack and shader pack.
  6. Open a world.
  7. Hold a chest in either hand.
  8. Move or rotate camera.

Expected behavior
The chest model should appear in the hand like other block models and rotate smoothly as the character does. The model should only appear once per chest held.

  • Minecraft Version: 1.21.4
  • EMF version: 2.4.1
  • Does the issue persist with only EMF installed?: No, because Iris Shaders is necessary to replicate the bug.
  • if applicable, provide your modlist or log: EMF, ETF, Iris Shaders, any shader pack, any resource pack with custom chest model. Mod Menu was also installed for the attached video to show mod list.

Additional context
I experienced an OOM crash when I was first trying to isolate the bug but have been unable to replicate it. That log can be viewed here. Note that this log uses a considerably longer mod list.
