[Bug - models] Applying 2 entity resource packs wont work together properly, both ETF and EMF

Describe the bug
im not sure if this is clear enough, but i'll try to specify, applying a top pack with only model.jem above the bottom pack containing model.jem, model2.jem, model3.jem, model4.jem, etc, overrides the whole pack at the bottom, rendering the bottom pack inoperable
List and link to broken resourcepacks
Top Pack: https://www.planetminecraft.com/texture-pack/tg-better-hnimals-animals/ (an example)
Bottom Pack: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/texture-packs/human-player-mobs
Human Player Mobs seems unassuming, but its functions related to these are important
Expected behavior
the model.jem from the top pack should only override the model.jem from the bottom pack, which means the model2.jem and so on from the bottom pack should be unnaffected, and therefore, i should be able to spawn both the TG Better Animals model and Human Player Mobs model as variants
