[BUG] "Doesn't use skin selected in launcher"

Changing skin in the Minecraft launcher doesn't change it in game (both single and multiplayer). This is only happening in 1.21.4. When using the mod in 1.21.1 the skin change shows.
- Minecraft version: 1.21.4
- ModLoader: Fabric
- ETF Version: 6.2.9
- When ETF is removed the current skin shows as normal
