[BUG] Layer ordering issue with Iris/Oculus
burghenby opened this issue ยท 0 comments
Describe the issue
This is similar to issue #344 but is not being caused by Immediately-Fast.
In having random entity textures with villagers, the layer order of the skin texture (villager.png) and the villager type layer (desert, swamp, etc.) will not prioritize correctly. It never affects all villagers at once and changes depending on the angle that I'm looking at the villagers. I found the above issue after joining the Discord when Google searching this issue produced no answers. However, I do not have Immediately-Fast installed and after performing a 50-50 mod test, I narrowed it down to Iris.
It is worth noting that:
- The issue did not persist when only Sodium (Iris' sole dependency) was active without Iris
- The issue was present when testing with NeOculus (both versions of 1.8.6) and Embeddium
- The issue did not persist when only Embeddium (NeOculus' dependency) was active without NeOculus
- The issue occurred both when shaders were on and off
Screenshots
I don't have my own screenshots to provide, mainly because I never managed to get the villagers to stay still long enough to catch it. However, issue #344 shows it well.
