I don't know if its an intended feature or not, but in first person mode, I can't change back to the default minecraft perspective. This wouldn't bother me very much, but I recently discovered that maps only render as items in first person. It would be nice if you could add a map holding animation.

turn on the "Filter animation" in the config screen. it will disable the animation while you're in mining mode.
