Will it be possible to add the custom entity datapacks feature to 1.16.5 because i want to use the guard villagers datapack but it only works for 1.18.2

I was thinking of that but some of the mods im using in my modpack aren't updated to 1.18 so i can't make datapacks for the entities to use epic fight mechanics. ill just have to use the animation preset in the config file. Its not problem tho just a suggestion if u ever decide to work on 1.16.5 again

Why don't you update guard villagers? they've already been updated to 1.18.2.
