From skimming the updates 5.1.0 onwards, I have a few questions.

What gore effects are there? Are gore effects new? I've never noticed any, and I didn't see any gore after killing a bunch of zombies in the latest version.

How do datapacks for customizing weapons work? Does this mean we should remove them from the config?

If you turn off the Gore effects, the blood particle becomes yellow.

And I will make a video about how to make custom weapons compatible with datapack. But the configuration files will be supported up to 1.16.5.
