Can you make atleast the blocking system ?

Thank you for changing somethings in my mind.
I learnt if a stuff's developer/creator can't make a specific update, its not good to beg for it.

But i wouldn't need to ask for backporting if i could do it myself.
Btw,what is backport value ? Some money that will be earnt by backporting ?
