Incompatibility with Custom NPCs makes worlds never finish loading

I now realized it was because Custom NPCs was installed. I think it's because it can't find a way to render the NPCs, so it literally makes the system have a migraine attack, and then give up to load the world. What's not letting the NPCs render?

I guess Epic Fight allocated the animated model of the player to the custom NPC. It has to access the profile data to render the player model, but Custom NPC never has a player profile.

So the only thing i have to do is just either remove CNPCs or Epic Fight from the modpack? That kinda makes me sad bc i was gonna make an rpg map with both npcs and epic fight

Besides this problem, there are many compatibility issues with custom NPCs. I'm trying to make a more flexible custom entity configuration in 1.18.2. I'll take a look at this issue after my current goal is complete.

Good to hear, but unfortunately I am using the 1.16 version, because my PC has issues trying to install 1.18 forge, so, please update the 1.16.5 version too.

This problem is only for 1.16.5 as noppes will not update this mod to 1.18.5 not while

So basically noppes just updated an mildly stable release of 1.16 and left it like this? not fair

So... Is it done yet? How's the progress going?

i'll be done when its done, rushing him wont help make it faster, this issue will be closed the moment the issue is solved, and you'll be notified, you don't have to worry about that. In the mean time, please wait. If we also need any further information we will ask you for it. You can follow the development progress at the source code page, there you'll be able to see the latest changes. If you also desire you can see some posts made by yesman saying he won't be working on 1.16.5 as of now, since 1.18 has just launched and he's working on expanding the ai system (just like he mentioned here on this thread) . Thanks for your patience.
