For some reason there are no skill books to learn dodge or block, and i've tried installing previous versions (im using Minecraft 1.16.5, Epic Fighting Mod 16.5.13, and Forge 36.2.20) and it didnt even load the world, please help.

Have you checked the creative tab?

I also have the same issue. No books in creative epic fight mod installed via cursedforge on 16.5 of minecraft.

Have you tried checking if this still happens without any other mods?

Found the issue! It was me LOL there were pages to the creative menu! the books work... my bad XD

SO yeah no issue! Just didn't notice the menu option!
