Multi-piston shaft broken by flowing water

Describe the bug
Water attempts to flow into the shaft blocks of extended multi-pistons and breaks them.
Does not affect the piston base or piston head blocks. Affects both horizontal and vertical multi-pistons.
The piston does not drop as an item when this occurs.

To Reproduce [Optional]
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Place some flowing water.
  2. Place a multi-piston so it would extend into the path of the water.
  3. Power the multi-piston.
  4. Water flows into the piston shafts and breaks the piston.

Expected behavior [Optional]
Piston shafts block water flow.
