creating a ship with the helm makes the steering wheel invisible

Issue reproduction

Upon installing embeddium ++, creating a ship with the helm makes the steering wheel invisible

(Note: I have other mods installed but I tested the a fore mentioned mod alone with VS and Eureka and confirmed my findings)
