I made this an informal report just because its weird.

Unsure why this crash is happening... signs point to Chipped and your log texture changes so far but I could be wrong.
I tried loading this with just chipped and every comp and there was no crash, so it seems to be when in tandem with many other mods.

Its with the latest versions of moonlight and every comp, 2.9.5 didn't cause any crashes, but updating to 2.9.6 causes some problems.

It didn't generate a crash log instead it generated a java heap log. Assuming it was just not enough allocated RAM, i raised the limit and the crash persisted. I can provide the latest.log and the java heap log.

Next time, use "Report A Bug" IIRC is the issue name. v2.9.7 is uploaded and that should fix the issue.

FYI,

just Chipped & Every Compat don't cause the crash is because you don't have any Wood Mods (Biomes O' Plenty or others). You are correct, it's the log texture. I made a few tweaking so new block logs will use the logs' texture instead of using oak's texture.
