Hi, there are some missing texture from certain mods wood supported to few blocks of "Building But Better".
Mods:
-Better Archeology [Rotten Wood]
-Jaden's Nether Expansion [Smokestalk Wood]
-Region Unexplored [Alpha Wood]
-Cataclysm [Chorus Plank]
BBB Blocks:
-Support
-Balustrade [The middle texture]
-Wall
All modded woods from (BBB) Wall and Balustrade doesn't have recipes
Mods missing recipes (Wall and Balustrade) checked:
-Region Unexplored
-Better Archeology
-Deeperdarker
-Quark
-Hellion's Sniffer+
-Ars Nouveau
-Phantasm
-Cataclysm
-Vanilla Back Port

Most certain will missing to all supported mods
i am having issue to start only the BBB mod, is fine if i send you on the modpack i checked on? Could be a big one
nevermind, i had to put some mods to fix stuff and runs:

FYI, just use latest.log, not the YYYY-MM-DD.log.gz, these logs were zipped with date. so yeah.
I've checked the log and know which blocks has the missing texture. so i am going to investigate on my side.

FIXED in v2.9.10
FYI, Some blocks from Building But Better (BBB) are missing recipes. There's nothing I can do about it. it's pre3 (Pre-release candidate) after all. You'll have to wait for pre4 or an official release. you can use v1.0.1 or v1.1.1 for a full play if you want to.
I've fixed the missing textures and the block, the wall's recipe now required stripped_log so some blocks will be removed from your worlds because they don't have stripped_log like regions_unexplored:alpha
