Code of Conduct
- Always check you are using the latest version of the mods and its dependencies
- Remove mod that enhances Minecraft: Optifine, Sodium, others. The issue still persists.
- If you are unsure which mod is the culprit.
Disable all of your mods and enable them 1-2 mods each time to isolate the culprit - Confirm that there is no existing issue with a similar description submitted in the list of issues.

Issue with mods
Woodster adds custom chiseled bookshelves, and wood compact lets other mods with wood types have chiseled bookshelves based off of Woodster. Any mod that adds new wood lets us have variant chiseled bookshelves, but those crash on placement of the block.
Issue Detail
Example- Aether adds Skyroot wood. Woodster adds Chiseled Bookshelf variants, and wood compact lets us have Skyroot Chiseled Bookshelf with those two mods. The downside is placing them just causes a crash instantly.
The crash displays as a Invalid block entity.
