Code of Conduct

  • Always check you are using the latest version of the mods and its dependencies
  • Remove mod that enhances Minecraft: Optifine, Sodium, others. The issue still persists.
  • If you are unsure which mod is the culprit.
    Disable all of your mods and enable them 1-2 mods each time to isolate the culprit
  • Confirm that there is no existing issue with a similar description submitted in the list of issues.

Axes do not work properly on modded wood that has been modified with the carpenter's workbench in Chipped. Here is a list of wood types that I've included in my attached video and their accompanying mods:

Chipped mosaic variant of these wood types:
Cherry Planks: Vanilla (works normally)
End Lotus Planks: BetterEnd (Sinytra Connector)
Bloom Planks: Deeper and Darker
Bluebright Planks: Blue Skies
Azalea Planks: Quark
Redwood Planks: Biomes O' Plenty
Skyroot Planks: The Aether
Roseroot Planks: Deep Aether
Fieldsproot Planks: Aether Redux
Canopy Planks: Twilight Forest
Stone Pine Planks: Hellion's Sniffer+
Pewen Planks: Alex's Caves
Rotten Planks: Better Archaeology

Based on this, I could assume that the bug extends to modded wood types in general, not just the ones I've listed. Those are just the ones in my modpack.
PS: I'm aware that I didn't remove the mods that enhance my game before recording- I removed them and replicated the bug off-camera and the issue persisted.

  1. Modify a modded wood type with the carpenter's workbench
  2. Place the modified wood down
  3. Attempt to break it with an axe

What's the expected behavior from that action using axe?

EDIT:
I noticed the AXE has Efficiency V which instant break the planks. I'm surprised it don't work on EC's blocks.

Can you check the Chipped's cherry to see if it has other tags aside #minecraft:mineable/axe or similar.

This will take some times to find the cause to why the AXE with Efficiency V don't instantly break a plank.

I found the cause. ugh. this will take some time to find why it happened and apply the fix

CAUSE:

It turned out the tags aren't applied to EC's blocks, #minecraft:mineable/axe and i check their tags and it's just one tag. not good.

I don't really have any knowledge on how any of that stuff works, but that sounds tedious ๐Ÿ˜ญ oh no

No worries. it has to do with the new generation system in Every Compat. This is pretty much related to StoneZone's issue, too. The problem is worse than i thought.
