In 1.20+ versions of musket mod, entities like Skeletons and Pillagers were given the ability to wield muskets and fire them. However, it seems like 1.19 never got that addition, as monsters in that version don't attack with the muskets like they should. Would you be willing to backport that feature to 1.19, and if not, would it be okay if I created a 1.19 addon that backports it? (Assuming the mixins that were used to make mobs able to use muskets still work on 1.19; idk how different the Minecraft codebase is between those two versions)

Is this something you ended up pursuing? I too am interested however I have no knowledge of coding. If you got it working I'd love to have a copy.
