Crucibles being strange.

My Minecraft version is 1.12.2 my Ex Nihilo Creatio is version 0.3.1, and my JEI version is 4.11.0.204.
Hello, I seem to be having an issue with the regular clay crucible, they don't show up in JEI, or the Creative search, I have to manually make one and cook it, but that's not the only issue. When I go to place cobblestone in it, it doesn't do anything, so I try stone, netherrack, obsidian, gravel, none of it works, so I try pumping cobblestone into it via a transfer pipe from Extra Utilities, but all that does is crash the game and break the world, this issue is kind of important, I'm playing on a skyblock world and really need a good source of lava to continue.
