What went wrong?

I just installed the mod on a fresh instance with the Curse app. When I try to mine andesite copper ore with an iron pick it acts like I have the wrong tool. Jade also doesn't show a harvest tool which leads me to think it may be that the ore doesn't have a tool defined.
