I have mods with ores and tools and mod which change tool to max effective to breaking block.
I have hook and pickaxe in hotbar.
When I break Infected leaves that mod changes item to pickaxe which can break faster than hooks but has no drop.

1. Put silkworm into leaves
2. Wait for infect
3. Break 100% Infected leaves with pickaxe

Excepted to long time for breaking by picaxe or item drop.
