MC Ver. 1.19 Forge Ver. 41.0.100
Compass currently searches in a spiral which grows too quickly, resulting in approx. 50% of chunks not being searched. Players must perform the same search from multiple different chunks to find the closest instance of a structure.
Edit: Tested again, bug was present even when no other mods were used. Tested in 1.18.2 on Forge 40.1.0 incase the issue was caused by the newest ver. of MC or Forge, but bug was present there as well.
