Just a suggestion I think would be silly n fun, a new type of photo frame that'd squash the image down to fit the total size of the frame similar to a vanilla painting, so 16x16 for one block frames and 32x32 for 2x2 frames.

Would these photos be even remotely legible? Probably not, but I think it'd be a fun & immersive option to display your photos that'd let them blend right in with vanilla paintings.
