Minecraft: 1.12.2
Forge: 14.23.4.2759
Extended Days Version: 0.2.7-25
Silent Lib Version: 3.0.5-152

Expected behavior

Day time to be shorter. I want a 3 min daytime and 30 min night.

Actual behaviour

Sky moves at expected rate, but jumps backwards when MC Time should be skipped.

If I set an "Extended Period" of '6000 -5', when the time reaches 6000, rather than jumping the MC Time forward to 12000 and starting the transition of dusk, it sets the Actual Time back 6000 ticks to 0, resetting the sun to the eastern horizon and continuing the day for another 5 minutes as the MC Time continues to count to 1200.

Setting the "Extended Period" to something like '1000 -5' results in a similar result. Daylight still lasts for 1200 ticks, but now the moon crosses the sky for the first half of the day and the sun follows for the second half. This also puts the sun icon on the clock WAY left of the bar, moving towards the bar until "sunrise".

Setting the "Extended Period" to '6000 -7' causes the sun to race across the sky as expected, then slow to a crawl when it reaches the point that dusk should begin (around 4000 ticks); the sun icon continues to travel off the bar without slowing. At 6000 ticks the sun resets as above.

Steps to reproduce the problem

  1. Set "Extended Period" to '6000 -5'
  2. Sit back and enjoy the sunset(s)
  3. Die of boredom waiting for the sun to go down again because the only way to make progress in this pack is to kill monsters.
  4. Profit
