Not sure if its because I transfered the world save file over from 1.14.2, or if it may be another mod interfering (accurate block placement comes to mind) but I cannot get the long face of the corner to face the right side of a block
essentially I want it to touch the window pane.

Corner placement is a known issue in 2.0. It will (attempt to) be fixed in 2.1.
